Photoshop Lessons continue again

Well, let's see what else we can do to mutilate our poor parrot photo today.  We'll start out nice with some more filters before delving into the odd stuff.

The first filter (one the left) is called dry brush and it provides a painted look to the image and makes it much softer.

The second effect (on the right) is called paint daubs and offers yet another painted effect to the bird, providing the feeling of thickly applied paint.

I think he's being a pretty good sport about all this, don't you?

This effect is called posterization and it's one of my favorite...I don't know why...I just like it for some reason.  That's why it got to be much larger than the rest.  Oh, the power of being the blogger!

The last effect for today will be the sponged effect.  I like this one also and could see this as a silk screen design for a tee-shirt.

I may have to use this as a print for one of my many tote bags I create using photos on fabric.  It's a great way to show off photography as well as family photos.

Long live the Queen of Photo Effects!
