It's a great day for goofing off

Then why am I working like a dog?
April is such a good month!  First of all it is National Humor Month, most likely because everyone has a silly grin on their face watching the snow recede and the green things ebbing their way into life again.

The first week of April is Laugh At Work Week, so if you haven't been chuckling in your cubicle...you got some catching up to do.

But today is the best of all...National No Housework Day!

I'm done hanging the laundry, Mom.
Now, Left Brain would argue that this is not so special or unusual in our home.  I think he figured out my housekeeping skills when I ordered carpet to match the cats and I told him cat hair was a condiment and a good source of fiber.

Time for a nap after doing all that...nothing.
So kick back, put your paws up, order in a pizza...oh wait, I can't eat that right now.  Forgot.

Long Live the Queen of Doing Nothing

  1. Hello. I just love the idea of a National No Housework Day. Of course, I celebrate that particular holiday quite often.

I stopped by yesterday and left a nice big comment, and then Google wouldn't let me post it and next I knew it was gone. Oh well. Some days Google just doesn't play nice.

Today we have bright sunshine, so Tootsie and I will try to get outside for a while and have some fun. You have a great day. Hugs, Edna B.

  2. Just me again. The pink grass is called (I think) "Muhlenbergia." It is suposed to be winter hardy in zones 4-9. Here's a link to the place where I bought mine.
