Photoshop fun with scenes from Myrtle Beach

I did several alterations of a pair of chairs on the beach.  Which one is your favorite?  I promise, this is the last of the beach photos for a while....I'll find another theme for next week.

brush stroke - accented edges

brush strokes - ink outlines

dry brush filter

paint daubs

poster edges

sponge filter

watercolor filter

I believe I only had the one from Miss Edna, if I'm missing anybody else please send me a scathing message.

Next week we'll play with a photo of a young dancer.  Her mother is a friend of my daughter and both her girls are very talented dancers.

The expression on this girls face just begged to be used for a challenge of some sort....have fun!

  1. The sponge filter looks like a "Monet". I really should learn Photoshop. Looks like you have way too much fun. I'm still a kindergartener learning to color within the lines; jpeg and Picasa.....need I say more!

  2. Oh my, sorry I missed the challenge this week. I have had another week from ... and can't seem to get caught up. I posted a few things but haven't had time to comment on those meme's either. I keep thinking I need to take a break, but then the holidays are coming and on and on ...

Word has it that we are expected to have snow on Monday so the weekend will be spent trying to finish things like cleaning gutters and trimming buses on the hill. I love your litttle dancer ... I hope I will have time to work with her this week. Fingers crossed Queen of the Beach :)

  3. I really like your ideas with art and photography. You have a good eye. You manage to keep it real, while making it artistic.

  4. I think I like the sponge filter the best. I ran out of time for this challenge but will be back at it next week. Love the photo of the little dancer.

  6. I like the first one the best. It has a softness to it that is quite pleasant. The little dancer is intriguing, and will definitely be a challenge. Hmmmmm, I'll have to think on this one for a while. I just got home from work and will be hopping into bed for a little nap soon. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
