I generally have several posts ready and waiting with photos loaded and ready to go...but no longer.
For those of you have not yet discovered the addiction of Facebook games and apps such as Bubble Witch Saga, Candy Crush, Pet Rescue Saga, Farm Hero Saga and Pyramid Solitaire...heed my warning....stay away!
It's depressing to attempt to achieve another level in these games and have the screen repeatedly tell you that you failed. I mean, this can really batter your self-esteem.
Not to mention the horrible images of all those little pets I failed to rescue tumbling down off the blocks. Okay, they're just cartoons but they were counting on me and I let them down!
It all started with a request from a couple of friends to play along with them. I swore I would never go down this slippery slop and refused to help others build their farms in the past. But I thought I'd just take a little peek at it...try one of two games.
That's how addictions start and pretty soon I was hooked and when I ran out of lives in one game I'd load up the next one until I failed at it.
This must be how it feels for someone with a gambling addiction. It's always going to be the next hand, or the next machine that pays off.
Now you can get crazy and start paying actual money for extra lives and more changes, and special tokens and the like...and I refuse to go there.
Let's just say that I've missed more than one activity here at the RV resort because I've gotten so absorbed into my gaming that I failed to see the clock...that's right at the bottom of my screen.
Tomorrow is Photoshop Friday and I've yet to get this done. I also need to finish reading 'The Book Thief' before the movie comes out, Left Brain is way ahead of me. We have kind of a competitive Kindle competition going.
He was busy today repairing the jacks and hallelujah! the jacks now go up and down at our command.
So, I'm going to sign off now and get busy on my Photoshop project...just as soon as rescue a couple of pets and get to the next level in Candy Crush.....uh oh. Maybe that's not such a good idea. I guess I better just dive into the project instead.
Long Live the Video Queen
I almost dropped Scrabble cold turkey as my life was being run by games and words. Now Natureman is on my laptop as he plays. GRRRRR.
