Georgia on my Mind....as well as other things

I did all the driving to our new location. Okay, it was only 68 miles to Brunswick GA and on a three lane interstate...but still.

We arrived at the Coastal RV Resort and I felt like I had won the lottery!  This place is beautiful and we are parked on a concrete pad with lush grass, a bench and small garden behind us overlooking the river. Sigh.

I've just recently enrolled in the RV Parks Review forum since we see more parks than most people and this might be my very first ever 10 rating. But I've learned not to do the review until the night we are leaving to get the full experience first.

That's the good news.  The bad news is that the jacks are acting up again.  Every time we use them we both hold our breath and wait to see what happens.  But there is a repair service nearby who has already responded to Left Brain's call and a part is on the way, so maybe this problem will be resolved quickly.

Once we put the AC on (it is sticky hot here) I decided to take another stab at cleaning my keyboard.  I did this earlier by popping off the keys and cleaning things up and snapping them back on.  That's the good news.

The bad news is that I have just enough knowledge to be dangerous and now I still have a sticky space key and the F went flying across the table when I bumped it.  WTF!  For me that means Where's The F, but the standard definition applies as well. It is defying all efforts at going back into place.  Luckily it will still type with no key in place. We're looking for a computer repair person now as well during this stay since my favorite guy is back in Wisconsin and I don't think he'll make a house call this far.

There appears to be a lot to see and do here and I'm looking forward to exploring another low country coastal area with a side trip to the Okefenokee  National Wildlife Refuge.

We requested the mail so that will be arriving and hopefully will have our new credit cards in that batch.  We've been getting along just fine with our Debit/Credit card through the bank, so it hasn't been a bother at all.

Long Live the Queen of Sticky Keys and Stuck Jacks

  1. What a gorgeous spot even though it's hot. Kudos for doing all the driving. Did you also back it up and set it up in your new spot? Say hi to Pogo!

  3. Oh wow, what a gorgeous spot!! I hope you can stay here a while and enjoy everything the area has to offer. You are braver than me tfor aking your keys off to clean them. I would most likely lose a few of them before I got them back on. Here's hoping the problem with the jacks gets fixed soon. You have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B.
