I find myself getting excited when Monday rolls around now! I never seemed to have that sensation when I was working...I wonder why that is?
This woodpecker was snuffling up some pollen (or maybe bugs?) from this bloom. He was just too cute not to photo.
I may have overdone the texture on this one, but hey...you live and learn.

You don't often see a woodpecker with his beak in a flower ... how interesting. I don't think you over did at all ... I love the texture and it adds interest to an already interesting picture. Nice job, Queen of Texture ...

I agree with Andrea, you did a great job with the texture on this photo. It's very interesting, and I love the blue and orange together. I don't believe I've ever seen a woodpecker with its beak in a flower before either. Nice shot. Have a great day, hugs, Edna B.
