Happy New Year

We made it to about 10:00 last night so weren't awake to welcome the new year, but we felt pretty confident it would start without us.

It's been a whirlwind of activity with the family visiting, so I haven't been able to blog much.  We're taking a day off after zip-lining yesterday with them...they are back at Universal for more rides already this morning.

We're just recovering and taking time to catch up on reading Facebook and Blogs.

After the family has left we'll have a day to catch up and perhaps I can start sharing some of our experiences, hopefully with videos.  I purchased some video editing software and hope to load that today sometime.

  3. Zip lining ... are you kidding me? You are a brave sole, Queen Jester. I recommend a large bottle of Ibuprofen, a hot shower and a good night sleep. My goodness, you act as though you are young ... oh wait, you are young, relatively speaking :) Sounds like a wonderful family visit with your handsome kids and grandkids. Nice way to start out a new year.

We are suffering under layers of snow here ... albeit light snow it is piled up high. Izzi even has to struggle to get through it ... but get through it she does. It's keeping track of all of the Frisbees that becomes tricky and then being able to bend over to pick them up with five layers of warm clothes on. So maybe I would choose zip lining ... suddenly it sounds like the easier way to go. Glad your New Year started out so well ... shades of things to come. Be well, Queen of Courageous Choices ...

  5. Oh wow, zip lining!!! What fun that must have been. You are indeed a brave soul, my friend. It sounds so exciting, but I don't my old bones would hold up to it. What a beautiful family you have. Enjoy your time with them. We are expecting the snow to start up here tonight and then snow all day tomorrow into Friday. Oh goodie! Well at least I don't have to go back to work until it is all over. Here's hoping that your weather stays nice so that you can have lots of fun with your family. Have a great night, hugs, Edna B.
