It was time to check on Waldo and family again, so I took off with my trusty camera and new monopod. I ended up buying the Manfrotto 680B monopod as it was the most compact.
On top of this I mounted the Manfrotto 234RC2 head. It has a nice joystick type of grip and makes it easy to switch from landscape to portrait mode.
During the journey to see the birds I kept walking through web after web. I do believe I've found the Goose Island Website!
They are pretty cool to look at, but nasty to walk through. I looked and felt like I had been in a parade and shot repeatedly with silly string.
The owl family looked to be pretty content and the two siblings were venturing a little further out today. It wouldn't surprise me to see them fly off one of those days.

Website... that's funny!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what kind of bird lives in that nest? It amazes me how Waldo is able to survive on a limb by himself through all kinds of weather. I guess we still have lots to learn from our wildlife. Enjoy your new toys and have a wonderful day. Hugs, Edna B.
