Photoshop Friday

Today's post is the butterfly weed photo provided last week:

Andrea responded first (as usual) and reminded me it was Friday so I did a speed job on mine.

I love her rendition of having the butterflies landing on the image of the butterfly weed.

This inspired me, so I added one butterfly and then hit it with my usual, predictable poster edges filter.

We will be rolling before next Friday, so I'm not sure what kind of internet will be available.  But if possible, here is the prompt for next weeks Photoshop Friday:

Long Live the Queen of Ham Lake

  1. Okay... and I quote "here is the prompt for next week's Photoshop Friday:" ... then nothing, UH? Could you possible be referring to the water tower? Or did you have something else in mind ... then out of mind? I am thinking that you were thinking, I really don't have time for this next week so I really don't want to do it ... and thus ... Nothing :) So, that is okay, you know. We don't have to do it every week and you do deserve a break now and then. So, I will assume that next week is not a go ... and for me the next few weeks will be "not a go" because I will be leaving for Switzerland on the 25th. Hope you have a safe move and find a fun place ... Stay in touch, Sista :)

    1. totally forgot to add the prompt. Maybe this was meant to be....you're leaving on the 25th for overseas and we roll on the 20th with no idea what internet will be available. Let's just say it's postponed again for a period of time. You have safe travels - can't wait to hear about your adventures.

  2. I really love the way you do this meme. I always enjoy the different interpretations. Be safe out there rolling. Hug.

  3. Wow, I love both versions of the PS Friday image. I totally forgot to do mine. Shame on me. I promise I'll work on it and send it to you. I also did not understand next week's prompt. However there's a lot of stuff I don't understand so that's okay.

Seems like since I retired, my days seem to get busier and I forget more. Not sure if I'm crazy about this new way. Where are you off to this time? CA? Safe travelling my friend. I hope our good weather follows you. Have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

  4. I forgot to post the prompt for next week, but with us rolling on the 20th and Andrea leaving the 25th I've decided to postpone it again for a while. We are off to the Pacific Northwest and then down to California and Arizona for the winter.
