Sleeping Beauty

You may have noticed I've not been posting lately...or perhaps you haven't...either way, I'm back.

Left Brain is so thoughtful and willingly shares everything with me...even his awful head cold.

When I get sick like this all I want to do is sleep... sleep... sleep...and that seems to be the best way for me to rebound.

However, this seems to be taking a long time to get my energy back.  But I'm being gentle with myself and sitting around a lot drinking water and watching the cats play.

My appetite is lacking, but perhaps that is a good thing and I'll lose some weight during this spell.

More to come as I continue to recover...

Long Live (cough... cough) the Sickly Queen

  1. Take care of yourself and get well. Don't worry about us bloggers, we'll be here when you are feeling better. This bug that seems to be making everyone miserable is not so nice, so do be careful. Drink lots of fluids and get lots of rest. Play with your kitties and nap. I hope you're feeling better soon, hugs, Edna B.

  2. Actually, I did notice. Blogger continues to mess with me. Sometimes I get updates from people, sometimes not. I noticed that now you were missing. I am sorry to hear that you are ill. Bill is really sick, too. He has been on the road for a month; I don't know how he does it. His truck was in for maintenance, so he got to sleep in the bunk room a couple of nights. He is congested. Hope you are better soon!

  3. Send Left Brain out for some Vitamin C and Zink ... it is a little late in the game, but the immune system can always use a boost. It sounds like you know the right things to do ... rest, rest, sleep, sleep and watch the kitties. They are probably the most effective ... lifting your spirits discourages the little viral buggers. It is the cold weather up here ... so what is your excuse. You are in warm comfy land and you still came down with a cold ..... hmmmmmm. You know I wish you well ... sit out in the sun for awhile ... a little Vit. D never hurts either. Take care of yourself and we will see you when we see you ... you will be missed Underweather Queen.

  4. Feel better soon. Sorry that you both are under the weather, but better to bake it out of you instead of freezing those cold germs. Keep on the liquids flowing and rest. You know that's what that retirement is for...
