Ooops!

Our drive into Nashville was uneventful and we arrived at the campground about three o'clock to set up.  Our only concern was a strange knocking noise under the hood of our car and Left Brain wanted to get a look at it as soon as the RV was parked and set up.  I didn't give it much thought at the time.

We pulled up next to another motorhome who were also in the process of setting up, did our introductions and promptly ignored each other to continue our labor.

I went about setting up the kitty tent and tunnels to get them out of the RV as soon as possible.  This was challenging due to the narrow lot space.  The site is pretty open and sunny, so I arranged part of the tunnel under the RV to save space and provide shade.

My head was swimming with all the fun things I want to do while in this area and after finishing up with the cats and putting the inside to straights, I went out to see what was taking him so long.

OMG!  There he was, under the car tinkering with something and all I could see was his, well...his boy parts...hanging out from beneath his shorts.

Not wanting him to cause the neighbors to talking I did what I thought was reasonable and hurried over to his side and deftly tucked them back into his shorts.

Having averted disaster I turned to return to the RV for a cold bottle of water when who did I meet coming out?  Yup...Left Brain.

I hadn't noticed that although our RV's are totally different, the neighbors also have a black Honda CRV.  His wife looked mortified and Left Brain looked confused and I just wanted to disappear.

The bad news is he needed three stitches on his head from jerking suddenly up into the under frame of the car.  The good news is they are only here for a couple of days so I won't have to look him in the face again.

The point I'm trying to make here...and there is always a point to my escapades...is to always remain hydrated.  I think if I hadn't been sweating so much from setting up and taken the time to drink more water,  I may have noticed that I was on the wrong lot.

Oh well.

  5. I tend to believe it happened just the way you described it. Only you, could this happen to!! I love it!! It was probably the highlight of the poor fellow's whole winter. You have a way of brightening my whole day with your fabulous antics, my friend. Keep on being you. Maybe the next campground will be much nicer with bigger sites. You have a wonderful day. Hugs, Edna B.
