Out of the mouths of babes

It is true what they say...kids say the darnedest things.

I spotted this on a Facebook post from a friend of mine who has children as beautiful and precocious as she is.  And when you have all that...this is what you get:

"Catherine has been learning about fact and opinion at school.

She told me this morning that I am the best mom in the world.

Then she said that it is only her opinion and is not a proven fact."

I can hear the chuckling of mothers every where.

  1. How old is this precocious child? And good for her teacher to teach the difference between fact and opinion. Then in history they can teach the kids that the news isn't news anymore ... just opinions disguised as news (all the media outlets are owned by big corporations ... do you think they have an agenda?) Whoa ... sorry, I certainly got side tracked into a rant. Anyway, this child gets it because every child (well almost every child) thinks their Mom is the best in the world ... and they can't all be, right? ... not literally. So she learned her lesson well and I am guessing she does that most of the time. Great post, Queen of Delightful Friends.
