No blog today - just a note to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope that all are happy and healthy and having a great day.

This is yet another bogus photo from the Queen.  I wanted to decorate this lovely cactus the way I had seen in a nearby neighborhood.  So, I added graphics of beachballs for ornaments, that seemed appropriate.

Then, thanks to Sue Retzlaff's class, I added a little snow to give it that Christmas spirit.

Long Live the Queen of Christmas

  1. I guess this is less painful then decorating the real thing!

    Feliz Navidad.

    1. If you hadn't told on yourself, we would never have known. To me it is just a beautiful Christmas Cactus.
I hope your Christmas day was peaceful. Hanukkah on the road, in a Canned Ham had to be different than the traditional, but perhaps even more wonderful for you both. This is a time for peace and love. We can commit ourselves to working to make the world a better place, even if only in our own little circles. Peace to you, Queen of Christmas ...

  2. I love your cactus tree! The Christmas tree (or Holiday tree) is what we make it. For many years while our kids were growing up, Michael and I would have everyone over to celebrate both our holidays. We had a Christmas tree, green with colorful lights and decorations. We also had a silver Hanukka bush (that's what we called it) that was decorated with blue lights and ornaments. Our families had so much to learn from each other and it made the holidays quite nice. A lot of the kids, now grown, have moved away and most of the older members of the family are gone. I miis a lot of this holiday fun, but I still have the memories and they are pretty nice.

Have a wonderday day my friend. Hugs, Edna B.
