The lighthouses of Lake Havasu

Picture it:  over 200 miles from any body of water large enough to warrant a lighthouse and Lake Havasu has 20 of them.

Granted, they are replicas down in a smaller scale, but still….that’s a lot of lighthouses.

Some are of an original design and many are replicas of lighthouses that exist elsewhere.

I simply had to visit my favorite one, Split Rock Lighthouse from Two Harbors MN on Lake Superior.

  1. We spent a week in Havasu last winter....can't believe I missed the lighthouses. Lake Superior has some of the best. Wish I was in AZ instead of CO with 2 inches of crap and 10 degrees :-(

  2. I love your lighthouses. It must be fun finding so many of them there. We are getting ready to take a short walk before supper. You have a great day. Hugs, Edna B.
