Miller's Ale House

One of my newest discoveries and favorite places to dine are the Miller Ale Houses.  It is a franchise, which we normally try to avoid, but each one of these takes on a local name.  Plus it's a sports bar, so that makes it even better now that I love football on Sundays.

I'd heard of this while in Okeechobee.  Our neighbor was talking about the lobster dinner for $16.99, an unheard of price.

So, we went on a Wednesday (lobster day) and had to give it a whirl.

I've never ordered my own lobster dinner before, but have had tastes of it here and there.  Personally, now that I've sampled it, I have to admit I prefer shrimp more.

But the overall experience was very fun.

  2. You "love football"! I justknew you would, being soul sisters and all. It is fun, especially when you get to "know" the players. I am so happy you are enjoying it. I must say you look good in a Packers shirt! P. S. I feel the same about shrimp.

  3. What a fabulous photo of the two of you. My hubby loved lobster, and every year when we got to Florida, he would spend an evening at Angel's All You Can Eat Lobster restaurant. This would be the highlight of his trip. Myself, I don't do seafood. Just fresh haddock, scallops and canned tuna fish for salads. (I'm a cheap date!) Enjoy your shrimp! Hugs, Edna B.
