Wild Bird Wednesday

This year has been a bumper crop for the Canada geese in our park.

There appear to be three or four families that all have new offspring in our little pond.

By the time we arrive at our Minnesota headquarters, the little ones have almost grown up.

But you can still see the fuzzy heads that tell you which are the young ones.

Long Live the Queen of Geese

  2. Your photos are wonderful. I love watching the geese at our local park. But, your friend is right. That's a lot of poop on the lawns. This year, I missed all the young ducks and geese. Ah well, maybe next year. At least you're near by the pond. I would love to live on a pond. Well, my program is on (The Beast). You have a super evening. Hugs, Edna B.
