Fall is coming - time for the new quilt

I enjoy making these little quilts to celebrate the seasons.  The size is large enough to make a statement on a table, or cover the lap and knees if it's cold outside.

This one has a collection of Halloween fabrics used in a crazy quilt style.

I've placed a black tablecloth behind it to pop the colors for you.

The backing is this funky vintage looking fabric that fits our lifestyle with the travel that we do.  Obviously it's true that I don't know which end is up, as I notice I hung it upside down for the photo.  Oh well...you get the idea.

They don't take up too much space and are good projects to satisfy my need to quilt.

  2. Oh my, what a beautiful quilt! I don't think I've ever seen one decorated for Halloween. And you're right, that backing suits your lifestyle. What a unique pattern. After the holidays, my daughter in law and I are thinking of making quilts. It should be a fun project for us. The blind leading the blind. haha. You have a wonderful holiday weekend. Hugs, Edna B.

  3. Cool! When are you going to be in La Crosse again? I'd like to take you to lunch and pick your brain. I'm starting to consider doing what you're doing - RV life. Challenge though with my art and mktg business.
