New Pillowcases

There!  The last of my UFO's (Un Finished Objects) are done.

 I used up a bunch of odds and ends to make some new pillowcases for our bed.



 Then I found more fabric I just HAD to have (it's a sickness) and then I found myself making more of them.

The ones I made previously did not have finished seams and they are not used for storing miscellaneous stuff in the outside bays.


These all have a nicely finished seam inside with no raveling problems.

    Have you priced pillow cases, even at TJ? You could make a fortune. I prefer very high thread count super soft white ones -- hint hint. LOL

      I use 100% cotton fabric from fabric shops, not sure what the thread count would be. I've not looking into the pricing, but next time at TJ's I'll give it a look.

    Well, again, you excel at sewing projects. Do you ever take orders for any of your pieces? You really could make a fortune. Beautiful work.

      I'm always up for orders. Not sure what I'd charge. I'll have to google some on Etsy or places like that for an idea.

    Wowsie! You have some of the prettiest pillow cases I've ever seen. It's good that the Queen has such gorgeous bedtime slips. Your talent is amazing. I agree with your friends that you could make a fortune with these beautiful things you are making. Have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
