Cat Socks

When I saw these on Facebook I just knew I had to order them.
They're not actually socks for the cats, but for the chair legs.

Thank goodness!  It would have really been a struggle to get them on the cats.  Not enough band-aids on hand for that little chore.

Our chairs have wider feet in the front and small in the back, which makes it hard to find covers for them to protect the floor.

They also didn't slide easily and made a horrible noise when pulling the chair out.

The cat socks fit over the chair legs and look like little cat feet, which is cute but kind of creepy.

Sometimes it appears there is an entire herd of cats in our dining area...a very frightening idea.

They work slick, the chairs slide with ease and they make me giggle every time I look at them.

How can you beat that?

Alexa....?

I finally got an Echo Dot with Alexa as my personal servant.

It's taking some time to get used to her and I'm careful now not to use her name in any conversations because she's always there...listening.
Now I can just tell her to play an Oldie's Station and she finds it for me and turns it on.  I realize she can do so much more, but I'm just not ready for any large leaps in technology just yet.

This small step is enough for me.
